About Me

FXB at work

Frank Butler

Location: Manhattan, New York, United States

I’m a 47 year old acupuncturist going through my third midlife crisis (I seem to have them every 10 years). I guess that means I’m kind of confused about my mortality. No red Corvettes for me. Just a strange desire to change the world…

My office is located in Midtown Manhattan, two blocks south of Grand Central Station. The address is 16 East 40th Street, Second Floor. It’s just off Madison Avenue. My office hours are 1pm - 7:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and 10am - 4:00pm on Thursday.

When I’m not in the office I can be found: writing (my first book just came out, now I’m working on books two and three), lecturing (I lecture on various topics related to Chinese Medicine all over the world), generating curricula for graduate schools (related to Chinese Medicine of course), doing aid work in developing countries (bringing Chinese Medicine to places in the world that have almost no access to healthcare). All in all, a great life - though I do find myself a bit busy these days…

There are two things that should be noted: the “Food & Wine” and “Health News” posts are mixed with other post categories on the Main Page, if you’d like to see them separately you need to go to the Headers that run across the top of the main page to access them.

    hi there..
I had the pleasure of experiencing TCM and boy one really gets addicted. I am a walking example of pain - scoliosis, osteoarthritis, high blood pressure, migraine is my “twin-sister” - but still i try to hold on to the hope that one day, my TCN doctor will come back from Beijing…

How do I start doing work with You Can Change The World? I, too, am going through another midlife crisis:) I’m a licensed acupuncturist on sabbatical? working with private jets instead of treating = not satisfied deep down. Thanks

    hey jodi,
private jets are a big change from acupuncture! lol. if you’re interested in our project, which right now operates on 3 continents with about 18 sites world wide, you can contact jen at info@youcanchangetheworldnow.com. there are all sorts of opportunities to participate, from weekend trips to 3 week long international forays.

i hope you found this answer helpful.

    take care,

    Frank

Thanks, Frank! I’ve emailed Jen. Can’t believe you guys were in Jackson Hole where I live. I’m needing a fix of NYC SOON so perhaps our paths will cross.

    Be well,
    Jodi
